Lauren Shiohama is one smart cookie by our standards! Having graduated from USC in 2004 with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in Business Administration Lauren
had always had aspirations of a career in business.
Then, one day in late 2004, a friend of the family told Lauren that she looked amazing and why not get a few head shots and circulate them. They made a very compelling case and before she knew it, Lauren had taken a big step and moved to LA. From there, the rest was easy, Lauren quickly picked up a variety of great modeling gigs from big brands like Nike, Disney and Target. She even picked up a few magazine covers along the way and was featured in Cosmo, Shape and Glamour. From there, the big screen was a logical next step and Lauren made her debut in 2006’s hit film Little Miss Sunshine.
When she is taking things easy, Laure loves to relax and home and throw dinner parties for friends. She had always had a love for food and dining and finds it very relaxing to uncork a bottle and cook a gourmet meal for those she loves. Of course, Lauren also has a bit of an athletic streak in her and professes to be a big snowboarder!
